The Board of Selectman held a Regular Meeting at 4:00 pm on May 15, 2017 in the Meeting Hall of the Old Lyme Memorial Town Hall. First Selectman Bonnie Reemsnyder, Selectwoman Mary Jo Nosal and Selectman Skip Sibley were present.


  • Approval of Minutes:
 May 1, 2017 Regular Meeting Minutes
A motion was made by, Selectman Sibley, seconded by Selectwoman Nosal, to approve the minutes of the May 1, 2017 meeting. Motion passed.
  • Communication:  None
  • Appointments:  Joan Bonvicin, Lymes’ Senior Center Board, 3-year term ending July 2017
A motion was made by Selectwoman Nosal, seconded by Selectman Sibley, to appoint Joan Bonvicin, Lymes’ Senior Center Board. Motion passed.
4.   Old Business:
  • Boathouse Hains Park Improvements / Dedication Update
  • Approval of lease agreement between Town OL/Region 18 for Boathouse
A motion was made by, Selectman Sibley, seconded by Selectwoman Nosal, to approve the lease agreement between the Town of Old Lyme and Region 18 for the Boathouse with the updated legal description and map from the architect. Motion passed.

Town Budget Meeting Tonight at 7:30pm

5.  New Business:
  • Resolution for 2017 Neighborhood Assistance Grant Program for Florence Griswold Museum and Lyme Art Association
A motion was made by Selectwoman Nosal, seconded by Selectman Sibley to authorize First Selectman Bonnie Reemsnyder to sign the appropriate Neighborhood Assistance Act paperwork on behalf of the Florence Griswold Museum and the Lyme Art Association.  Motion passed.
A motion was made by Selectwoman Nosal, seconded by Selectman Sibley, to add item 5 b. Public Works Proclamation to the agenda. Motion passed.
